Project details
Choose the nearest location (Northampton uses Birmingham). For properties well above sea level, lower the temperature by 0.6 °C for every 100 m above the location.
Technical assumptions
U-values are typical figures for the age, wall, glazing and loft choices, not verified construction details. Room temperatures follow the room type. Ventilation is set per room from the property age, with an allowance for kitchens and bathrooms; rooms with no outside wall or roof get none. You can override the temperature and air changes in any room.

Room measurements
Start from existing plans
Important: A photograph is not automatically to scale. Calibrate against a dimension printed on the plan, then verify every measured room before using it. For a PDF plan, take a screenshot of the page and upload it as an image.
Visual floorplan
Trace a plan by adding its image in the Plans or photograph tab and pressing Set scale before drawing rooms. Rooms are drawn as rectangles; check adjoining walls and window positions.

Will the heat pump also provide hot water?
Indicative starting point: 45 litres per person plus 40 litres, rounded up to a common cylinder size. High demand adds 50 litres. Kingsley will confirm usage, coil compatibility and reheat time.
Which manufacturers would you consider?
Sizes are preliminary capacity classes from published ranges, not a confirmed model selection. Where a load sits close to a size, both sizes are shown. Kingsley will check cold-weather output and emitters before quoting.
